Pianist Adam Janjigian
Born and raised in Boston, pianist Adam Janjigian began studying music privately at the age of five with additional studies in jazz at ten and continued private study until graduating in 2006 from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in music with a jazz emphasis. After graduating from school, Adam spent two years living and working in New York City as a researcher and a flying trapeze instructor while performing at venues, including The Metropolitan Room with Grammy-nominated drummer/percussionist Bobby Sanabria, and The Bitter End with R&B/soul artist Mary C. In 2008, Adam was offered the opportunity to come and work for Carnival Corporation’s Cunard Line as a member of the Queen Victoria’s ballroom dance orchestra, before leaving Cunard and taking his talents to Princess Cruises, where he was the house-band pianist on five different ships before returning to Boston in 2011. By the time he finished his time on cruise ships, he had travelled to over 60 countries all across the globe, including Greenland, Australia,Thailand, Hong Kong and India. Now based in Boston, Adam performs regularly at such venues as the Beehive, Beat Brasserie, the Four Seasons Hotel and Fenway Park.
