Amanda Carr

Two-time Boston Music Awards nominee, Amanda Carr, is both an accomplished Master of Ceremonies and an experienced DJ who is in high-demand for private events throughout New England. Her ability to add a live vocal and/or instrumental performance element to her entertainment services enlivens and elevates any event to the truly special and memorable, well beyond the offerings of a standard DJ and host. Amanda is also an international recording and performing artist whose five jazz albums have received worldwide critical acclaim establishing her as “…a true jazz singer in a time of wannabes” (Wall Street Journal). Not limited by a genre or context, Amanda has collaborated with pop, rock, blues and folk artists in addition to being a featured soloist with several local orchestras including The Boston Pops with Keith Lockhart.
